Velden sets off a transfer bomb! The next ex-Bundesliga player signs for Marcel Kuster's team. Women's champions and KFV Cup winners St. Veit are losing their team for financial reasons. The girls could now join a lower league club. . .

A respectable 41 Bundesliga games for WAC and Hartberg, 161 second division games for Lafnitz, Horn & Gratkorn. Carinthian League club Velden have made their next transfer coup - with Mario Kröpfl from Pörtschach!

Third ex-Bundesliga player
The 34-year-old winger has only just ended his professional career with Hartberg and has now signed for last season's runners-up - making him the third (after Putsche and Kofler, Wallner is moving to the KAC) former Bundesliga player in the ranks of Velden coach Marcel Kuster. He also outdid the competition from Treibach and KAC.

Meanwhile, SC St. Veit is in a bit of a mess! Their Carinthian League girls are demanding an increase (around double) in financial expenditure after winning the championship. The management won't play along - and so the girls now want to join SV Kraig.

Decision on Monday
On Monday, the Carinthian League relegated team will announce whether they will "take them on". However, it is questionable what will happen to the starting place for the ÖFB Cup, which was won with the KFV Cup triumph, as a result of the name change. .
