Woman and children save themselves from burning car

Dangerous minutes for a 35-year-old local woman and two teenagers (aged 16 and 13) on Saturday afternoon in Fliess (Landeck district)! Smoke suddenly rose from the engine compartment of the car. The three occupants were able to leave the vehicle in time. The fire department extinguished the fire.

The 35-year-old woman was driving in Fließ at around 4.45 pm together with two teenagers aged 16 and 13. Suddenly, the woman noticed smoke rising from the engine compartment. The three occupants were able to leave the car in time and alerted relatives.

Flames under control
They were able to bring the flames from the engine area under control with a fire extinguisher. The Fliess volunteer fire department was also deployed. Fortunately, no one was injured. The car sustained considerable damage.
