Who would have thought it - the most famous (s)ex-intern in the world is a Taylor Swift fan. Monica Lewinsky has now followed the new social media "Asylum" trend with a post on X.

This is based on a line of text from Swift's new song "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me". It says: "You wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me." This translates as: "You wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me."

Fans then shared photos on social media of places that made them who they are today. Lewinsky did the same, making fun of her biggest trauma.

Taylor Swift is the talk of the town with her new album. A social media trend has even developed from one of her songs.

The 50-year-old had an affair with Bill Clinton in the mid-90s, which led to the president's impeachment in 1998. Lewinsky was vilified by both Republicans and Clinton supporters and now works for a non-profit organization that supports victims of bullying.

Nevertheless, she can now laugh about the events that made her name infamous around the world. The 50-year-old posted a photo of the White House - with the Swift line as the caption.

This earned her more than 11 million clicks and a lot of praise within 24 hours. One commentator wrote: "If tweets were an Olympic discipline, Monica Lewinsky would have won gold with this feat." One woman commented: "That you kept a sense of humor after what they did to you is very inspiring to me!"
