Craftsman bonus can only be applied for online
The tradesman bonus can be applied for from July 15 and covers all tradesman services from March 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025. The funding amount is a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 2000 euros per household and year and applies to the private residential sector, e.g. for painting, kitchen installation, tiling, etc. The application must be made online.
For those who are not so adept online, there will be "institutional assistance", the ministry emphasized in a press release today. The processor is the Federal Accounting Agency.
300 million euros are available from the state budget
The 2000 euro maximum amount is only available in 2024, next year it will "only" be 1500 euros. Several invoices can be combined in one application, the invoices must show the work performed separately and must be kept in a safe place.
The craftsmen's bonus is an important contribution to boosting the construction industry and supporting craftsmen's businesses.

To identify the applicant, it is necessary to register using ID Austria or upload a valid photo ID.

Minister of Economic Affairs Martin Kocher (ÖVP) also provided two examples today of what the money is for and how much it is: If the façade is redone for 10,000 euros, there is a 2000 euro bonus. If it is repainted for 500 euros, there is 100 euros.
