The cultural region of Lower Austria connects generations: Memories are created through shared experiences in the vast region.

Reliable and genuine! That is the motto of regional culture. The two supporting pillars for successful togetherness are upheld by countless volunteers in the vast region. Art and culture are not only a source of strength, but also a source of inspiration. At least if Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner has her way: "Regional culture is one of the staples of our society and forms the local cultural supply in the regions. It preserves values and traditions, provides orientation and creates a sense of community," says the head of the province.

For Managing Director Martin Lammerhuber, however, cultural work and voluntary work in the municipalities are "natural intelligence" - and this is irreplaceable.
