Woman did not see man: homeless man run over – dead

In the Schallmoos district of Salzburg, a 30-year-old Hungarian homeless man was run over in the driveway of a house and property on Thursday afternoon and fatally injured.

The man was lying there heavily intoxicated, the police reported. A 31-year-old Polish woman living in Salzburg drove her car into the driveway and ran over the man. 

Passers-by lifted the vehicle using a jack. Despite resuscitation attempts by the emergency services, the homeless man died at the scene of the accident.
