Before the crisis - and permanent crisis
The Schlossmuseum Linz recorded 63,984 visitors, which is close to pre-corona levels (2019: 67,900). The large exhibition Nature Upper Austria can also be seen here, which appeals to many. The OK Linz attracted 17,126 visitors, the Ursulinenhof 25,067.
However, the Francisco Carolinum remains the problem child among Linz's museums with 9576 visitors, compared to 24,200 in 2019. Strongest outposts: Marmorschlössl Bad Ischl (22,056 visitors), Upper Austrian Maritime Museum in Grein (15,991) and the Academy of Ceramics Gmunden (23,500).
