Drunk man attacked and threatened his own wife

Terrible scenes of domestic violence took place in an apartment in Klagenfurt on Tuesday afternoon. A 34-year-old man attacked his wife, threatened her and locked himself in the bathroom with their daughter.  

Women most frequently experience violence within their own families. A 26-year-old woman was attacked by her drunken husband in their shared apartment on Tuesday afternoon. The brutal father punched his wife in the face and then pushed her against furniture, causing her to fall and injure herself. He used this moment to lock the apartment from the inside and take his wife's keys and cell phone.

But that was not all - the man then barricaded himself in the bathroom with their five-year-old daughter, threatening his helpless wife again. After some time, the woman managed to persuade her husband to give her the keys back - and was successful. The 26-year-old was able to leave the apartment and call the police. "The 34-year-old was banned from entering and approaching the house and a temporary weapons ban was issued. He will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt," said the officers.
