Banker Harald D. not only covers his electricity needs with the small private photovoltaic system on the roof of his house in the Amstetten district: Last year, EVN paid him an annual income of 1500 euros - a full 20 cents per kilowatt hour. What's behind the "solar loophole".

Despite his profit, the 63-year-old is fiercely critical of EVN and the loophole and wants to warn other customers: "People are being ripped off with the new contracts!
