Getzner Werkstoffe achieved a turnover of 168 million euros in the 2023 financial year - 90 percent was generated abroad.
Those responsible at Getzner Werkstoffe were very satisfied with the business figures for the previous year. Customers abroad are primarily responsible for the stable growth of twelve percent and turnover of 168 million euros. In many countries, the focus is on the expansion and optimization of rail transport. "International projects such as the Tren Maya railroad line in Mexico are boosting our growth and helping us to overcome the weaker economy in some markets," explained Alexander Herovitsch, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Getzner.
While the industrial segment is stable and is benefiting from increased demand in the heating, air conditioning and ventilation sector, the construction sector in Europe is only developing slowly. In this area, projects in metropolitan regions in Asia and the USA clearly dominate.
12 percent
growth was recorded by Getzner Werkstoffe in 2023, with around eleven million invested in digitalization, innovation and sustainability.

Lean processes, improved capacity utilization, lower raw material consumption, less waste and optimized logistics - all of these also bring major benefits in terms of efficiency and sustainability. Keyword sustainability: Getzner already produces emission-free and exclusively using renewable sources.
