Business is increasingly focusing on ecology

New advisory service for companies and employees in the south of the country aims to facilitate sustainable business practices. The guidance is free of charge.

Going into the future with exemplary sustainability is a top priority for more and more companies. As the path to climate-neutral business is not always easy, support is now being stepped up. Together with the European Social Fund, the state is focusing on special advisory services for companies and employees. After all, the greening of the world of work brings with it many upheavals.

Free guidance is now available in the south. "We are delighted that we can now support companies and employees in the regions of Wiener Neustadt Stadt und Land, Neunkirchen, Lilienfeld and in communities in the Triestingtal valley as well as in the Mostviertel-Eisenwurzen region in their first steps towards a sustainable corporate future with the 'Qualification.sustainability' program," says Labour Market Minister Susanne Rosenkranz (FPÖ).

The advisors from MAG - Menschen und Arbeit (People and Work) - will identify potential on site in the companies, assess the employees' training needs and then draw up individual training plans. Around one million euros will be invested in this by the beginning of 2026.
