It was around 2.25 p.m. when the robbery took place. The victim is said to have been swimming in the Old Danube when the couple stole the rucksack they had left on land. After a short search, the victim was able to find the fleeing couple and stop them. However, they began to beat the victim and fled with the loot.

Couple left dog behind
The immediate search by the police was unsuccessful. However, the unknown perpetrators left their dog behind. It was picked up by the animal rescue service. The victim was slightly injured in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
