After goal gala: “His journey is far from over”
What a performance in the 2nd division! Vienna striker Kelvin Boateng put his stamp on the game with four goals in the 7:3 win over St. Pölten. The 24-year-old moved from Slovakia to the blue and yellows in the summer. The FAC clash with Admira on Sunday.
Remained calm in front of goal and finished with a dusty finish to take the lead. He then rose highest in the penalty area and headed the ball into the left corner. His third strike was the most beautiful with a lob. Shortly before the break, he capped off his superb performance with his fourth goal.
The fans in the stands were almost stunned. Because Kelvin Boateng gave the spectators a gala performance in the 2nd division with his four goals within half an hour in Vienna's 7:3 victory over St. Pölten. "He's a positive guy who always steps on the gas, but never puts himself in the foreground. After his performance, he had to sing the victory in the team circle. Even in this situation, Kelvin was shy," says coach Mehmet Sütcü.
He also raves about the strengths of the 24-year-old striker from Ghana, who arrived in the summer from Spartak Trnava (Slovakia) and now has six goals to his name this season. "He brings a lot to the table, is quick, robust and also works well defensively. His journey is certainly far from over!" While the FAC (who have lost twice in their last three games) face a challenge at Admira on Sunday.
