Hit and run: 17-year-old injured

A 17-year-old girl was hit and injured by a white van in Eisenstadt on Tuesday. The driver committed a hit-and-run - the police are asking for information

It all happened very quickly on Tuesday morning in Eisenstadt. A 17-year-old girl was walking along Ruster Straße and wanted to cross the intersection at Josef Joachim-Straße. As the girl was in the middle of the road, a white van turned into the road coming from Ruster Straße and hit the girl. The pedestrian was injured to an indeterminate degree in the accident. The police are now searching intensively for the previously unknown hit-and-run driver who, according to witnesses, was driving a white van with an Austrian license plate beginning with E or EU (Eisenstadt Umgebung).
