She is fighting against headlines that misuse her husband's terrible fate as click bait. In an Instagram video, Emma Heming complained bitterly about false information being spread about Bruce Willis' condition. In particular, she takes aim at a headline suggesting that the Hollywood star "no longer feels joy".

The 47-year-old insists that this is "far from the truth": "Our experience as a family is that of course there is suffering and sadness. But then you also start a new chapter that is full of love, full of togetherness, full of joy and full of happiness."

"Stop these stupid headlines"
That's why the mother of two is calling directly on the media and commentators on social media: "Stop these stupid headlines. This stupid click baiting just to scare people has to stop! There's nothing to see here, okay?"

Heming also criticizes how fake stories about Bruce also spread negative prejudices against dementia in general: "Too many people these days just have an opinion, but no experience. There is simply a lack of self-education about neurocognitive conditions, which then leads to widespread misinformation."

"Experience suffering and deep love"
Since Willis' diagnosis, Heming has had both good and bad experiences - all at the same time. "I experience suffering and deep love, sadness and a deep connection, trauma and perseverance."

The ex-model admits that she had to find a new path for herself after her diagnosis: "When I managed to do that, I felt a real sense of purpose."

Heming fears that "crazy, completely out of the blue headlines" are gradually wearing society down mentally: "You wonder why panic attacks and depression are on the rise in our society. I truly believe that shocking click-bait info is a direct contributor."
