Didn't want to pay
Drunk owner – dog bit police officers!
The officers were actually called because a drunk woman from Villach didn't want to pay her cab bill...
The trigger for the night-time police operation in Villach was 20 euros that a 31-year-old drunk woman from Villach did not want to pay for a cab ride. Not only did the 62-year-old cab driver not get his money - the woman's dog also allegedly bit him on the shoulder during the journey.
"However, he was not injured as a result," said the police. Even before the officers arrived at the scene, the woman from Villach had got out and fled with her dog to another property. "Due to the dog's aggressiveness and the woman's heavy intoxication, it was not possible to make contact and have a constructive conversation," explain the officers.
Bitten on the way home
Eventually, a police dog handler who had been called in managed to accompany the drunk woman and her dog on a lead to her nearby home. But at what cost? Because on the way there, the terrier bit the police officer on the thigh, so that the officer had to be treated at Villach LKH. The woman is being charged.
