Attack in Favoriten

21-year-old stabbed in the street

There was another bloody knife attack in Vienna-Favoriten on Tuesday night. The suspect is currently still on the run.

Attentive witnesses heard loud screams in the area of Antonsplatz at around 1.30 am. Shortly afterwards, they discovered a seriously injured 21-year-old lying on the ground. They immediately alerted the police.

Attacked with a knife
According to the police, the seriously injured man was attacked with a knife by an unknown man. He left him bleeding and fled in the direction of Laxenburger Straße.

No danger to life
A search was immediately launched without success. The 21-year-old was given first aid by the Vienna Emergency Medical Services and taken to hospital. There is no danger to life. The investigation is in full swing.
