Partner (43) threatened to kill her

It was just a small thing, but the question as to why the apartment was so messy was enough for a 45-year-old man to go completely crazy. He threatened to kill his partner and ran after her with a dagger and a sword in his hand. Even the police officers resisted arresting him.

At around 3 p.m. on Saturday, a 45-year-old man from Bad Ischl and his 43-year-old partner initially got into a verbal argument in their apartment over a minor matter. Suddenly, however, the 45-year-old went completely berserk and threatened to kill his girlfriend, who fled the apartment. He ran after the woman with a dagger and a sword in his hand and repeated the death threats several times.

He also threw objects, climbed onto the roof of a car and damaged another car with the weapons. When the owners of the vehicles approached him about his behavior, he also threatened them and then fled back to his apartment. The man, who also put up massive resistance during the arrest and threw objects - including a fire extinguisher - at the officers, was finally arrested.

After consultation with the public prosecutor's office in Wels, he was taken to Wels prison. The 45-year-old was charged with several counts of dangerous threats, grievous bodily harm, resisting public authority and damage to property.
