Full fire: car workshop ablaze with flames
Near the Südring in Klagenfurt, around 70 firefighters are battling a fire in a car workshop early on Friday morning. Two people were injured.
The fire was noticed shortly before 5 a.m. - the Florianis were on the scene immediately! "When the fire department arrived at the scene, the garage was already fully engulfed in flames," press spokesman Wolfgang Germ told the Krone. There is an apartment directly above the workshop - two people were injured and taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation, presumably the owners of the workshop.
Although the fire brigades now have the fire under control, the operation is likely to continue for several hours. "What started the fire is still unclear"!
At around 8 a.m., the fire department was able to report that the fire was out, but the follow-up work will continue.
