Gisele Bündchen: “I’m stronger than I thought”

Almost two years ago, supermodel Gisele Bündchen unexpectedly divorced football star Tom Brady. The 43-year-old said that the end of the relationship was the "death of a dream". This experience had shown Bündchen that she was stronger than she thought.

In a recent TV interview with US journalist Robin Roberts, she became emotional.

When asked how she felt about the break-up, Bündchen was in tears, as can be seen in the trailer for the interview. "I'm sorry...Can I have a moment to myself?" she asked, before turning away from the camera in tears.

Change is "the only constant in life"
"My life is a little different," Bündchen explained in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. "Sometimes I have my children with me, sometimes I don't have my children with me. There are different rituals when they are there and when they are not there."

According to Bündchen, change is "the only constant in life". "The only thing that is fixed is death." She is now focusing on gratitude, said the 43-year-old. "We can think: why is this happening to me of all people? But I believe we are here because we all have something to learn and want to develop and grow." The most difficult experiences in her life had shown her "that I am stronger than I thought", Bündchen continued.

Bündchen wishes Brady "always the best"
Bündchen and Brady divorced in 2022 after 13 years. The decision was made jointly and amicably after much deliberation, Brady wrote on Instagram at the time.

"The decision to end a marriage is never easy," said the supermodel. "But we've grown apart and even though it's hard to go through something like this, I'm grateful for the time we had and always wish Tom the best." The former dream couple have a son born in 2009 and a daughter born in 2012. Brady also has a son from a previous relationship.
