Young Tyroleans can secure a scholarship
Club Alpbach Tirol is enabling young adults with a Tyrolean background to take part in the European Forum in Alpbach in August 2024. Interested parties can apply until March 31.
In mid to late August 2024, a small town in the Tyrolean lowlands will once again become a meeting place for the wider world. From August 17 to 30, representatives from business, politics and science will discuss the future of Europe at the European Forum Alpbach.
And there is also an exciting opportunity for young Tyroleans who would like to get a taste of this world and take something away with them for their personal future during these two weeks: the Club Alpbach Tirol (CAT) is once again awarding coveted scholarships.
Applicants receive accommodation and admission
People with a Tyrolean background who are between 18 and 30 years old can apply for the scholarship - it is not necessary to have completed A-levels or be studying. The association pays for the best applicants' accommodation as well as an admission ticket for the events at the Forum. This also includes the opportunity to make contacts at receptions and to discuss current issues during hikes.
The politically independent association also organizes events outside of the Forum weeks, including panel discussions, guided tours and excursions.
25th anniversary
The Club Alpbach Tirol (CAT) is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and can now boast around 150 alumni. The founding members include Austria's Minister of Economic Affairs, Martin Kocher.
