Villa for sale
Tyrolean village throws out top Porsche manager
According to the court, the "main residence" was just a trick: Porsche top manager Lutz Meschke (57) is now no longer allowed to use the chalet near Kitzbühel.
Kitzbühel and the surrounding area are highly sought-after. But anyone who buys an apartment or house here has to pay attention to vacation designations or register a main residence. The law refers to the "center of vital interests".
Blinds were mostly closed
Lutz Meschke (57), who holds two seats on the Executive Board of Porsche AG and Porsche SE, also signed up to this in 2014. The Porsche vice-boss paid 1.5 million euros for the luxury chalet in the Stanglwirt village of Going. The blinds were mostly closed there and none of the three children attended school or university in Tyrol - which would have been an indication of the center of life.
This was a thorn in the side of the village and a complaint was filed. On July 17 of the previous year, Mayor Alexander Hochfilzer prohibited the use of the house in the previous way.
Presence was necessary for Maschke
The top manager's objection was not long in coming: he was also active in the real estate business in the Kitzbühel area, which is why his presence was necessary, he emphasized. Spending little time with his mostly absent family was no reason for him not to live in Going.
We complied with our duty after being notified and do not look at the rank and name of the person concerned. The court has now ruled in our favor and the previous use is prohibited.
Alexander Hochfilzer, Bürgermeister von Going am Wilden Kaiser
He was simply "not an average employee". This strategy left the Tyrolean provincial administrative court cold and the "ejection" from the town is perfect. Now the villa worth millions is up for sale.
