This is how strange the election campaign in Salzburg is going

They record songs, have themselves filmed while cooking or voluntarily go to prison: the candidates leave nothing out during the election campaign. 

"I don't have to practice, I want to live." Not every note is perfect, but he sings it with fervor. Oberalm's mayor Hans-Jörg Haslauer (ÖVP) and his team have written a hymn to the Tennengau town and are using musical tones in the battle for the mayor's office. Haslauer's party colleagues are also having a go, performing lines such as "Between Hallein and Soizburg lies a small place, it's not really well known, but whoever has seen it will never want to leave".
