320 women farmers want to run instead of milk

On Friday, female farmers from all districts of Salzburg will be swapping their stable clothes for sports shirts. What fascinates them so much about running together is that they make up the largest group at the Salzburg Women's Run.

Around 1200 women run through the city of Salzburg on Friday evening. The organizers and participants of the Salzburg Women's Run are delighted with what is probably a new attendance record. Founder Ruth Langer describes the special feature of Salzburg's largest active sports event for women and girls as follows: "The runners and walkers create a mutually extremely motivating atmosphere."
