Taylor-Joy: saying yes in a wow dress & with scary cake

Two years after saying "I do", Anya Taylor-Joy has finally confirmed her wedding to Malcom McRae. The actress posted a series of photos from the most beautiful day of her life on Instagram.

Anya Taylor-Joy kept her wedding a big secret for two years. On the second anniversary, the actress finally published some photos of her "secret" vows to musician and actor Malcom McRea, whom she calls her "best friend" in her post, in New Orleans.

The wedding dress: a dream in champagne colors by Dior, which was covered all over with delicate embroidery. "With our love story", as the "The Queen's Gambit" actress revealed to her fans.

The highlight: the hummingbird embroidered on the top of the dress, fluttering towards a flower. An extra-long veil, under which even Taylor-Joy's friends, such as Cara Delevingne, could still hide, gave the 27-year-old's bridal look that certain something.

Two "delicious" hearts
However, it wasn't just the extravagant wedding dress that caught the eye, but also the couple's wedding cake. Instead of the classic dream of buttercream and white fondant, Taylor-Joy and McRae were presented with an admittedly somewhat spooky delicacy.

Two hearts landed on the bride and groom's plate, blood included. "Yes, these are anatomically correct heart cakes. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat," joked the actress. 

And the beauty's fans also vacillated between amusement and disbelief at the unusual delicacy in the comments. "Who doesn't enjoy eating a heart here and there?" asked one. "A wedding without three human hearts ripped out is considered a boring affair," added another.
