ÖFB team striker Nicole Billa moves to Cologne

Nicole Billa is moving from TSG Hoffenheim to 1. FC Köln in the German women's Bundesliga on a free transfer this summer. The 28-year-old ÖFB team striker has signed a contract until June 30, 2026. The Cologne club made the announcement on Tuesday.

"I'm now in my ninth season at Hoffenheim and was keen to do something new. FC Köln has great potential and I want to help it develop further," said Billa. She will meet her compatriots Jasmin Pal and Celina Degen in ninth place in the table. The two-time Austrian Footballer of the Year has scored 84 goals in 175 Bundesliga games for Hoffenheim since 2015, but this season she has alternated between the starting eleven and the substitutes' bench.

Billa has played 98 international matches and scored 47 goals in the ÖFB team.
