Partly strong wind

New week starts cloudy and rainy

The coming week will start with heavy rain and strong gusts of wind throughout Austria. Nevertheless, it will clear up from time to time and temperatures of up to 17 degrees are expected.

Already on Sunday, dense clouds will cover the whole country. It may rain more and more frequently until the afternoon. Only in the north will the sun shine for longer at first. In the afternoon, however, the tendency for showers will increase here too. The wind will be somewhat strong at times in the east and along the northern side of the Alps. Depending on the rain and foehn, the highest temperatures during the day will be between five and 17 degrees.

Monday will start dry and mild. A few residual clouds will still cover the mountains in places. During the day, however, there will be a friendly mix of sun and clouds. In the evening, it will rain, especially in the east and southeast, sometimes heavily. Temperatures may reach up to ten degrees in the morning. In the afternoon, temperatures will climb to a maximum of 14 degrees.

Tuesday will be very cloudy and rainy throughout Austria. The sun will only come through occasionally. The wind will be light. Temperatures of up to 15 degrees are expected, especially in the east of the country.

The weather will remain unsettled on Wednesday. There will be intermittent sunny spells, and the sun may shine for longer periods in some areas. The wind will be moderate to brisk in the north and east. Early temperatures will be between minus one and plus seven degrees. As on the previous day, temperatures will climb to 15 degrees.
