"Excuse the metaphor, but could it be that Italy was a Fiat Panda today and Switzerland was a Ferrari?" asked a Swiss reporter at the press conference following the Swiss team's 2-0 win over the dethroned defending champions.

"Tasteless innuendo"
After there were problems with the translation and Spalletti did not know what was being asked for some time, the frustrated team boss finally reacted with biting derision.
