Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna expands its presence

There is a first time for everything. There are now two premieres at the Domquartier: "Colors of the Serenissima" is the first exhibition under the direction of the new Domquartier director Andrea Stockhammer. And it is also the first guest appearance of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna in the Residenzgalerie.

 "This exhibition enables the KHM-Museumsverband to expand its presence in the provinces," says Sabine Haag, Director General of the KHM-Museumsverband.

The comprehensive show features over 40 works that reflect the history of painting in Venice from the Renaissance to the Rococo period. The paintings from Titian to Tintoretto and Veronese can be seen until January 2025.
