92-year-old man ran over his partner with his tractor

The terrible accident happened while working together in the garden in Vorderweißenbach (Upper Austria): A 92-year-old man was steering his tractor on a slightly sloping meadow and, according to his own account, mixed up the pedals - and hit his partner (77) with the tipping bucket mounted on the vehicle.

According to the police, the 77-year-old was knocked over a stone wall about 50 centimeters high as a result of the accident and was seriously injured. The rescue helicopter flew her to hospital, where she is receiving further treatment.

The accident happened shortly before midday on Friday. The couple were working together in the garden of their family home in Vorderweißenbach. The 92-year-old was at the wheel of his tractor, which he was steering over a sloping meadow. A hydraulic tipping bucket was mounted on the vehicle - and it was with this bucket that he hit his partner.
