Drunk driver had neither license nor registration

A 58-year-old man from Kremsmünster (Upper Austria) had done pretty much everything wrong during a police check on Saturday afternoon. Not only was he drunk, but he also had neither a driver's license nor a valid registration for the car.

Police officers had their work cut out for them on Saturday at around 3.30 p.m. during a traffic stop in Sattledt. When the officers stopped a 58-year-old man from Kremsmünster, the driver was unable to produce a valid driver's license.

But that was not all: he also did not have a registration for his vehicle, which is probably why he had mounted the license plates of another vehicle on his car.

Several charges
During the breathalyzer test, the 58-year-old was again found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.86 per mille. He was banned from continuing his journey and will be charged several times. This is the third case in a very short space of time in which drivers have been caught driving without a license.
