If you love sweets, you’re probably sweet yourself

Birthday cake, cake for coffee, sweets for dessert and no Advent or Christmas without cookies: have you ever thought about the fact that almost every nice thing involves sweets? Apart from the health aspect, do you know what the best thing is? That this can also be transferred to humans.

And now we have another excuse as to why we can't resist sweets: Because we're just too sweet for it ourselves! Very cute, isn't it? At least that's what an international study has shown: People who are good with others also have a particular fondness for sugar products such as chocolate, pastries and the like - and vice versa too. 

"Something sweet for my sweetie" may not be the most ingenious pick-up line, but it can be true. There have been indications of this before, but only in the USA. The latest study now shows that it is likely to be a cross-cultural phenomenon.
