Due to a technical defect in a lamp, smoke developed in the elementary school in Tarrenz in Tyrol on Monday afternoon. Two teachers and around 15 children were able to leave the school through the emergency exit in time, according to the police.

The Tarrenz volunteer fire department deployed 30 firefighters and four vehicles and carried out ventilation work. No one was injured.
