Man races away from police with two-year-old in car!

A man from Flachgau put himself and his two-year-old child in mortal danger on Saturday afternoon. Both were injured when the man fled from the police. He had a reason for wanting to escape the police.

In the course of a routine check on the Eugendorfberg Landesstraße L245, the police wanted to stop a driver on Saturday afternoon. But he ignored the stop signs, siren and blue lights.

Crashed into an embankment
Instead, the man from Flachgau drove faster and faster away from the control. In a left-hand bend, the driver suddenly left the road and continued driving in an adjacent meadow. There he crashed into an embankment as he tried to rejoin the main road.

Driver has no driver's license
The man had his two-year-old child in the car. Both were injured. Emergency services took father and child to Salzburg Regional Hospital. Why did the 34-year-old put himself and his child in mortal danger? According to the police, he does not have a driver's license and therefore wanted to evade the control. The man from Flachgau is being charged.
