Enjoy and circle Lake Ossiach car-free

From 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday, April 21, all cyclists and skaters have free rein around Lake Ossiach.

With the 19th edition of the "Krone" Cycling & Skating Experience Day, all amateur athletes will celebrate the official start of the Carinthian cycling season next Sunday. One week later, Lake Wörthersee will be car-free.

Initiatives like this are ideal for cycling around the lake in a relaxed manner and doing something good for the environment and yourself in the process.

There are several highlights at Lake Ossiach: In addition to many culinary and music stations around the lake as well as the chill-out area of Antenne Kärnten and Hirter Bier in Ossiach, the "Krone" and the tourist information office are also giving away several all-inclusive tickets for the family and climbing forest with Fly-Line in Rappitsch (above the FF Ossiach) in advance. All participants who take part in the "Krone" online competition at krone.at/gewinnspiele have the chance to win these adventure tickets, which are valid during the bike day on April 21.

What athletes & drivers need to consider 
The Kanzelbahn parking lots are closed. In addition, a ban on driving in both directions (except for local and regular traffic) has been imposed on motorists and the like from the junction of Ossiacher Straße / Ossiacher See Süduferstraße (in Feldkirchen) to the junction with Bleistätter Moorstraße in Steindorf.
