Biker crashed into stone wall – seriously injured

There was a motorcycle accident on Thierseestraße in Thiersee (Kufstein district) on Easter Sunday. A biker (20) went over the edge of the road during an overtaking maneuver, hit a stone wall and crashed.

The 20-year-old local wanted to overtake a car in front of him at Wieshäusl. In doing so, he overshot the left-hand edge of the road in a slight right-hand bend and crashed into a stone wall.

Serious injuries
He was then thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries to his leg. He was taken to the district hospital in Kufstein after receiving initial treatment from witnesses to the accident and the ambulance service.
