Gregoritsch scores his first treble for the ÖFB

It was his 13th, 14th and 15th goals for the ÖFB team. No other player has celebrated more often under team boss Ralf Rangnick than Michael Gregoritsch. On Tuesday in the test against Turkey, the Freiburg striker scored his first treble.

He was the match-winner of the evening! With his goals in minutes 44, 48 and 59, he put Austria's national team on the road to victory - and gives us hope for the EURO in Germany this summer.

First Gregoritsch capitalized on a strong move by Nicolas Seiwald, then he headed home a corner from Romano Schmid from a completely free position and finally Austria's new goalscorer also converted a penalty to make it 4:1. The first red-white-red treble since Rene Aufhauser's 4:1 against Trinidad/Tobago in 2006 was perfect.
