Every day, many dogs, cats and small animals end up in the rescue centers of animal shelters. They all deserve a second chance to find a home with loving owners and to go through thick and thin with them. Every week, we present pets that are looking for a new home.
Changes in life circumstances and the resulting lack of time on the part of the owners are the reason why Benni is being given away with a heavy heart. Lady has survived several strokes of fate: she survived a house fire and - after her owners were already in an old people's home - lived all alone in an apartment where she was fed and walked once a day. The twelve-year-old dog needs a period of familiarization with strangers in order to build up trust. Lady is house-trained, knows the basic commands and can be left alone for some time. However, she does not yet know how to put on a harness. We are looking for a childless home with a garden where she can be looked after as an only animal. Panter, a male American Staffordshire Terrier born in 2019, has not known much in his life so far. He was kept in a cellar and confiscated. Isolated from the outside world in his past, he is now starting to catch up in small steps. He is already familiar with a harness, lead and muzzle. His behavior towards other animals could not yet be tested due to his high stress level. In any case, what this people-friendly, rambunctious dog needs is a child-free, quiet home in the countryside where he can live as an only pet and relax. Alea is shy and reserved at first. Her amiable and playful nature only comes to the fore after a certain period of getting to know her.
