Car parts flew 160 meters after heavy crash

The violent collision happened while overtaking: A 37-year-old man from Linz drove into the oncoming lane on the Landshaager Landesstraße on Friday evening and collided with the car of a 42-year-old man from Altenfelden, who also had his seven-year-old son in the car.

Friday around 8 p.m., St. Martin im Mühlkreis: A 37-year-old man from Linz started to overtake on the Landshaager Landesstraße in the direction of St. Martin. According to the police, another car came towards him at this moment.

Three injured
A 42-year-old man from Altenfelden and his young son (seven) were sitting in the car. The two vehicles collided so violently that the cars and wreckage were scattered over a distance of 160 meters.

The 37-year-old was seriously injured in the accident, the 42-year-old and his son were slightly injured.
