Forestry worker hit in the face by steel cable
The steel cable hit the face of a worker (31) from Micheldorf (Upper Austria) with full force because the webbing belt on the pulley of a logging machine broke. The rescue team first took him to a nearby soccer pitch, from where the rescue helicopter took over the transport.

Colleague remained uninjured
The fastening on one of the trees came loose, causing a steel cable to hit the 31-year-old in the face with full force. His colleague was also hit by the rope, but remained uninjured.
The casualty was taken to a nearby soccer pitch by the ambulance service and flown from there by rescue helicopter to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz. Both forestry workers were wearing protective clothing and helmets at the time of the accident.
