Teenagers blew up a cigarette vending machine

On Sunday night, three boys blew up a cigarette vending machine in Hard (Vorarlberg) using pyrotechnics. However, they did not get their hands on the cigarettes.

There had been quite a bang, but the cigarette chute had remained intact. So the lads tried to get their loot by sheer physical force. However, they were disturbed by passers-by, whereupon the trio fled. They didn't get far: in the course of an immediate manhunt, the three boys were arrested by the Harder police shortly afterwards. 

"Blasting master" reported at large
During questioning, it emerged that the young vandals had already blown up two garbage bins in the Lake Constance community the previous evening. After consultation with the Feldkirch public prosecutor's office, the "master blasters" were released. The damage to the cigarette vending machine is considerable.
