Becomes a party location

Dead adventure pool comes to life: rave in the wave pool

The Wave adventure pool in Wörgl, Tyrol, has lain derelict for more than three years after refurbishment proved too expensive. Now the mayor of Wörgl and managing director of the adventure pool has taken up an idea put forward by local residents on social media: A "rave at the Wave" will take place in the former indoor pool.

The ailing Wörgl Wave has finally left its days as an adventure pool behind it. But at the beginning of April, it is to be revived in a different form. At the "Rave im Wave", the area will become a party zone.
