Unrest at United after “unprofessional” trips

Unrest at Manchester United: star players Marcus Rashford and Casemiro are being criticized after their travels during the international break. Legend Gary Neville accuses the two of a lack of professionalism.

Rashford, who was once again not nominated by Lee Carsley for England's Nations League games, traveled to the USA. Last Friday, he did not miss the NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets at Madison Square Garden.

In the meantime, team-mate Casemiro also flew to the USA. During the international break, he enjoyed time with his family at Disney World, among other places.

"A few great days in Orlando with family and friends, come back soon," wrote the Brazilian.

The fact that United professionals voluntarily accept long flights during the season annoys legend Gary Neville. "The professionalism of looking after your body and making sure you're optimally prepared for the next training session is very crucial," said the ex-footballer in the podcast "Stick to Football", presented by "Sky Bet". For him, Rashford and Casemiro's trips were "unprofessional". 

Clash with promoted side
Manchester United face a Premier League away game at Ipswich Town on Sunday. Anything other than a win against the newly-promoted side would be a bitter disappointment for the squad under new coach Ruben Amorim.
