Cold nights and fresh snow ensure that the men's and women's Alpine Ski World Cup slaloms will take place on November 23 and 24 on the Kirchenkar slope in Gurgl (Tyrol). 

"The highly experienced team around slope manager Armin Achhorner has done an outstanding job. Nothing stands in the way of the World Cup races in Gurgl," FIS Assistant Race Director Raimund Plancker was quoted as saying in a press release after the snow inspection on Thursday.

It was a major challenge that was successfully mastered, said Gurgl project manager Alban Scheiber. He assured that the athletes will find "perfect conditions".
