Alko driver causes spectacular accident in the Stubai

This overtaking maneuver by a local man in Neustift on Sunday went wrong. The car overturned and the 41-year-old suffered serious injuries. And the drunk driver also lost his driver's license.

Bus came towards him
The man was driving out of town on the (private) Talstraße in Neustift at around 2.45 pm. After the "Raffeiner Galerie", he overtook a car - but a bus came towards him.

Car torn apart
In order to avoid a head-on collision, the driver skidded and left the road. The car overturned and finally landed back on its wheels.

Driving license confiscated on the spot
The driver suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service. A breathalyzer test was also carried out: It was positive! The man's driver's license was confiscated on the spot.
