71-year-old woman succumbs to her injuries after accident

A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday in the middle of the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck. A pedestrian was hit by a small truck and seriously injured. The woman died shortly afterwards.

The tragedy occurred at around 11.20 a.m. in the Anichstraße area. According to the police, the collision between the small truck and the 71-year-old pedestrian occurred there. The small truck was being driven by a 27-year-old Croatian man. 

Died in hospital
The local woman suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to Innsbruck Hospital after first aid. Sad news came from there in the evening: The woman succumbed to her serious injuries.
