Firefighters helped a horse back on its feet

Extraordinary mission for the Florianis of the Klagenfurt professional fire department on Saturday: the men had to help a horse back on its feet.

"Horse in distress" - that was the callout for the Klagenfurt professional fire department on Saturday morning. Experience has shown that this means that an animal is "trapped" somewhere, somehow, or is stuck - and needs to be freed from a difficult situation. In this particular case, however, the initial situation was completely different.

For some unknown reason, an adult horse was no longer able to stand up on its own. And so, under the expert instructions of the animal emergency service Dr. Erdmann, who was also present, the emergency services put their hands or straps on the horse and helped it back on its feet using a crane.
