Comedian and chef in the fast lane with podcast

They have already hosted Viktor Gernot, Folkshilfe and the charming beauty presenter Silvia Schneider. They have been to Linz, Innsbruck and Vienna: Günther Lainer and Krauli Held are a dream team when it comes to creating the podcast "Beim Gast zu Gast". Now they want to produce two programs with an audience and live - in Bad Goisern.

Günther Lainer, the well-known Linz cabaret artist, and Christoph "Krauli" Held, the popular restaurateur and TV chef in the Salzkammergut region, have been making a joint podcast since fall 2023.

The broadcast format is called "Beim Gast zu Gast", and the two take it in turns to invite prominent guests. The podcast has long since ceased to be an insider tip and now attracts tens of thousands of listeners; it even spent several weeks at number one in the comedy category of the podcast charts in German-speaking countries.

Now Lainer and Held have set themselves a new goal
"We want to produce recordings in front of a live audience," they say. It all starts on Tuesday, May 14 (7 pm) in "Krauli's" home town of Bad Goisern, where two shows will be recorded in front of 170 viewers. Studio guests are also expected.
