Here in the live ticker:
FC Bayern want to seal their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League with home advantage. Salzburg will be keeping a close eye on the game in Munich. Should Bayern knock out Arsenal, the Austrian champions would already be guaranteed a ticket to the Club World Cup in the USA in the summer of 2025, the first to be held with 32 teams.
For Bayern, it's all about "keeping the season alive", as goalscorer Harry Kane put it. The England team captain named a big plus for the German champions, who were dethroned last weekend: "We have a lot of experience in the team with players who have already played big games."
Tuchel: Sane "drags himself through the season in pain"
Kane himself has scored a total of 14 goals in 19 competitive games against the Gunners in a Tottenham shirt. In the first leg, he scored a penalty to make it 2-1. Thomas Tuchel, who is leaving FCB at the end of the season, is also relying on Manuel Neuer and Leroy Sane, who were rested in the 2-0 win over Cologne. "He's dragging himself through the season for the team with pain," said Tuchel about Sane, who is suffering from pubic bone problems.
Serge Gnabry is injured and Alphonso Davies is suspended. Konrad Laimer is expected back in defensive midfield along with Leon Goretzka.
It is a duel "completely at eye level", said Tuchel on the starting position. "We have a game to take the next big step in this wonderful competition. We are ready to put everything on the table."
Bayern are unbeaten in 14 home games in the Champions League, winning eleven of them.
How will Arsenal react after setback in the league?
The Gunners failed to live up to their nickname at the weekend, with Mikel Arteta's side losing 2-0 to Aston Villa to leave them top of the Premier League table. "Now is the time to show character and leadership. Now it's about how we react," said Arteta after the setback. "The players are frustrated and sad, but we have a wonderful opportunity. There can't be a better time."
Arsenal would be back in the semi-finals of the Premier League for the first time since 2009 with a win in Munich.
