Fraudsters paid for hotel with stolen credit card

It took more than a month for a brazen fraud at a hotel in Ischgl (Tyrolean district of Landeck) to be discovered. At the beginning of February, three men had paid there with a credit card that now turned out to have been stolen.

The two Germans (23 and 26) and a 26-year-old Pole stayed at the hotel in Ischgl from February 7 to 10. The three men then used a credit card to pay the resulting bill of more than a thousand euros. 

On Friday it became known that this card had been stolen and that the men had used it illegally. It is not clear where the three fraudsters are at present. They will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Innsbruck.
